With C&RT and Square Mile Farms

On Friday 8th October, The Sharks were working with Canal and River Trust, and Square Mile Farms, using the Open-Canadian to get rubbish out of the canal.

The Sharks are committed to looking after our environment and had a great morning working alongside staff from Square Mile Farms, who install vertical farms, please do check our their website, they do some really interesting stuff.

We will be doing more work with C&RT and other groups, as well as being the right thing to do, it is in everybody’s interest to keep the canals clean as well as several bags of floating rubbish that were removed from the canal, we used a grappling hook to pull some objects from the bottom of the canal, including a car seat, by which we mean the whole seat from a car or van!
