And The Sharks were there, well done to those who took part.
Saturday
Khaleel Ziauddin was the only ranked division 2 paddler racing and he came 27th, picking up 81 points. However, he was joined by Division 3 paddlers Meshach Lewis (145 points), and Hudayfa Hadjali (32 points) who were paddling up. A system that enables you to paddle in the division above and collect points according to where you would have come if you were in that division.
Sunday
The Trio were joined by Aaron Nolan, who came 15th and picked up 220 points, his final position in Division 2 is 56th with a total of 684 points from just three events.
Khaleel came 22nd and gained another 80 points, which gives him a season total of 763 points, ranking him 49th in Men’s K1 Division 2. Khaleel is The Sharks top ranked Slalom paddler for the second year running.
Meshach gained another 140 points for his paddle up, leaving him ranked 43rd in National Division 3 K1, Men, with 506 points from 3 events, looking likely for an early promotion next season.
Whilst Hudayfa earned another 40 points, leaving him ranked 4th in Division 3, a certainty for promotion in the early part of 2023.
