Podium finishes for Shark Paddlers

Another fun weekend with The Sharks, this time at the Nene White Water Centre in Northampton and some stunning results, yet again!

Veterans

Two wins in two days for our lead slalom coach Rick Moore in the Veterans K1 event, picking up 553 points on Saturday and 550 on Sunday, well done Rick. Rick is now in 5th place in the National Veterans Racking list with 2833 points from 5 events.

Division 2

Khaleel Ziauddin, maintained his position as Sharks top paddler with a 22nd place finish on Saturday and 25th on Sunday, collecting 13 and 60 points respectively. He is now ranked 47th in Division 2 with 682 points from 4 events.

However, the top paddler on the weekend was Aaron Nolan, who only raced on Sunday but took 14th place and took 240 points, he is now ranked 63rd in Division 2 K1 Men with 464 points from just two events!

Neal Underwood, also raced both days coming 29th (48 points) on Saturday and 23rd (40 points) on Sunday. Neal is currently ranked 87th in National Division 2 with 156 points.

Division 3

It is our Division 3 paddlers who are showing form and looking likely for promotion. Hudayfa Hadjali is storming through Division 3, having been promoted earlier this year at Shepperton. He took 3rd place on Saturday, collecting 228 points and on Sunday he came second with 235 points. He now has 951 points from just 4 events, meaning just one key result (Shepperton perhaps on 22nd October?)

Chasing Hudayfa, closely behind on Sunday was Meshach Lewis, who came third is his first Division 3 event having been promoted at Cardington, earlier this month.

Junior 12, Aditya Ravichander is also climbing his way up the rankings of National Division 3. Racing only on Saturday he took 21st place, collecting another 22 points, giving him a season total so far as 216 (from 3 events) and is in 86th place,
