Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd March

The new slalom season kicks off in March and the first event for any of our paddlers is, as usual, at Stone.

Stone is a site that many of our paddlers have made their debut. It is a great entry level event and it would be good to get a team there.

The event is open to all our Division 3 paddlers, you know who you are, plus any yet to be ranked paddlers (Division 4). Take a look at lats year’s events there: March ’23 and October ’23. Paddlers in higher divisions can enter the judges event to get some experience or enter a different class C1, or C2?

There are two events, one on Saturday and one on Sunday, you can enter either of both. You can enter online here. The event is run by Stafford and Stone Canoe Club, it is a really nice site, with changing rooms, showers and catering. It is about 140 miles from Harefield and takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to drive there.
