Another 5 paddlers making their debut in Wild Water Racing, as our biggest WWR team yet take to the waters of the River Soar at Barrow-on-Soar, near Loughborough.

Ian Marsh, racing Wild Water for the first time, he came 23rd completing the 3k course in a time of 22 minutes and 36 seconds, racing in a slalom boat, Ian is a senior.
Saalih Syed (under 12) racing in a WWR, coming 27th in a time of 26:33. He was 2nd J12.
Ten-year-old 10 Abdurrahman Syed was in 29th place, his time was 32:14. He was second J10.
Abdullah Syed took 33:20 and came 30th over all and first J8.
Maximilian Arbuzov took 31st place and 4th J12, his time was 35:25.
Great to see so many new faces at the race and now for our returning paddlers …
First back for The Sharks was Adam Stewart in joint 7th place overall, his time was 16:07.
Grant Underwood took 17:07 and was in 12th place.
Veteran Neal Underwood came 15th, he was third V60, race time: 17:55
Ivijah Campbell-Bryan was second J14 and 21st over all, time: 20:59
Seven-year-old Kiyan Zand Lashani raced in a Wild Water Racing boat from the first time and he came 32nd and first under 8. 38:17 was his time.
Fantastic days racing, well done to every one and a big thank you to our senior paddlers for helping and supporting the youngsters. Also a big thank you to Soar Valley Canoe Club for hosting this fantastic event, which helps promote the sport and helps get new people into racing.
