Who are we?
The Sharks are a unique canoe club, with a bold mission to get more people paddling regularly whether for recreation or competition. We offer opportunities for both casual paddlers and those looking for a competitive edge.
We work with schools, offering core time PE and afterschool clubs, we also run our own sessions where we teach as well as coach, at present we are actively involved in Marathon Racing, Slalom Canoeing, Sprint Canoeing, and Wild Water Racing. We have plans to add Canoe Polo soon.
We already employ some top notch coaches in specialist areas, whom are very keen to help you develop.

Harefield on the edge of London is the home to our Slalom and Wild Water Racing Teams, we have access to a sailing lake and the canal, as well as our permanent slalom gates on the weir at Coppermill (opposite the Coy Carp).
Harlesden

Based on the canal in NW10, this site offers the opportunity to develop Sprint and Marathon canoeing. We host regular afterschool sessions with local schools as well as our own club sessions.
Southall

An exciting site project where we teach core time PE as well as after school clubs and our own Club sessions, this site also offers the chance to develop Sprint and Marathon canoeing. We are also looking to develop facilities here working in partnership with local schools and community.
There are two satellite sites at Southall which are under development in 2005, which will offer additional opportunities for teaching.
Thamesmead

A new project based in South-East London, which will be starting in April 2005, as the project develops we will have plenty of hours. We are aiming to open a Water Sports Activity Centre on this site, teaching Schools, After School Clubs and developing the site as a significant teaching and coaching location.
