On the Weekend of Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th July, there is a slalom event at Bala in North Wales, on the River Tryweryn. it is for Divisions 2, 3 and 4, so everybody in the club is eligible.
Bala is a small town on the edge of Sowdonia National Park and the Trweryn is a challenging river to paddle down and has hosted many events over the years, including World Championships in both slalom and Wild Water Racing. The site being used at Bala Mill is on a flatter stretch of water below the Mill.
