New Sessions at Greenford Quay!

n order to improve what we offer at Greenford Quay we are making a few changes. This is due to the success of the project and would like to thank everyone involved and particularly the paddlers for taking part. All sessions cost £6 per person

Every Monday and Wednesday

4pm – Lessons for school aged children

These last 45 minutes and are for anybody in year 3 and above.

4:45pm – Racing Sessions

These are suitable for all people who want to race, if you have been attending any of our regular sessions, then as about learning to race.

5:30pm – Lessons for all ages

Learn who to kayak, these sessions are open to both children and adults, so families can paddle together, come on Mum and Dad, no excuses!

6:15pm – Adults only

These time slot is reserved for adults only, for those who want to paddle for recreation or to learn how to race and want be involved.

We are operating from The Elsdale, a wide beam canal boat that is moored at Greenford Quay, UB6 0FT.

There will be sessions for all ages (year 3 and above) at Greenford Quay and we are looking to work with local schools, clubs and other organisations, so if you are interested in your group being involved, please do contact us on 07951 770241 or email: greenford@thesharks.org.uk.

This programme is still developing and so far we are having great success and we will be announcing more opportunities soon.

Saturdays

On Saturdays we will have some recreational sessions using sit-on-top kayaks. For more information, please call 07951 770241 or email: greenford@thesharks.org.uk. The cost of these is £8 for a single and £14 for a double, take yourself on a trip along the canal.

This project is growing very fast and we will continue to develop it to suit the needs and wishes of our members, which is you!
