Another Busy Month
We had over 1,000 paddlers on the water during the Summer Holidays, raced in two competitions, one breaking our record for number of Shark Paddlers.
As well as our regular sessions at Harefield, Harlesden, Osterley, and Southall, we welcomed paddlers from various partners, including Let’s Leap Sports Academy, and The Learning Tree. We ran many sessions in partnership with Canal & River Trust, as well as for the Young Explorers International School, and St. Anslem’s Church in Southall. Additionally we hosted sessions for a number of Scout Groups.
Over 200 people paddles at our event at the Thamesmead Festival, this was an important key event in our plans for Thamesmead.
We started regular sessions in open canoes at the Green Quarter, Parkside Yards in Southall.
Ivijah and Liah were paddling in the Marathon at Tonbridge, with Ivijah taking another first place.
And teh amazing record turnout of Shark Paddlers at Cardington.
