Final Slalom Rankings 2024

7 new paddlers added to The Shark Team Due to weather issues, many events did not run or were curtailed, this has obviously affected the national rankings in Slalom, but we still managed to get 7 new paddlers racing Slalom in 2024.

Neal Underwood

Coach and Athlete Neal is our lead Wild Water Racing Coach, although he also coaches Marathon and Sprint. Like most of our coaches, Neal has a background in competitive canoeing and does still race.

Khaleel Ziauddin

Athlete Khaleel has maintained his position of The Sharks top ranked slalom paddler for the fourth consecutive year.

Liah Boyle

Athlete In 2024 Liah became The Sharks top female slalom paddler having come 19th in Ladies Division 3 K1 with 417 points from just 3 events. She is also ranked 95th under 16 in the UK. In 2023 she was Ranked 12th in the UK Ladies K1 Wild Water Racing and second Under 16.

Grant Underwood

Athlete and Coach Grant is The Sharks own home grown international talent, having represented Great Britain in Wild Water Racing. He is currently ranked 41st in the UK rankings and 45th in the European rankings in Wild Water Racing.

Min–Marathon Results – Harefield Only a small number of paddlers but a start as we revive this once popular Winter Min-Marathon series, We did however have three new paddlers racing marathon – getting ready for our 2025 Hasler challenge.
