A flaying start to the year January and February have been a very busy start to the year, both on the water and off the water, first of all a nod to our competitive Wild Water Racers that have been going through the Winter.
River Race Results from Barrow-upon-Soar A team of ten Shark paddlers made the trip for the final race of the serries, it was a great day out, with nice weather, no wind and excellent water. We will be back in October!
Harefield Mini Marathon Results Although a small turn out , a great race with everyone doing the 6 miles (9.5k), we need a few more paddlers to get involved and get active. Next race is on Sunday March 16th.

Three new champions! Nine paddlers took to the challenge of the 5th race in the Barrow Wild Water Racing series, which was also the East Midlands Championship. The weather was on the cool side, but the competition was hot and The Sharks excelled!

Coach and Athlete Neal is our lead Wild Water Racing Coach, although he also coaches Marathon and Sprint. Like most of our coaches, Neal has a background in competitive canoeing and does still race. in Master 60+
