What can we say? Sport England have presented The Sharks with an award for being the best sports satellite club in London for our work at Osterley Park.

Combes wins promotion

Ealing Gazette – 16th September 2016 – Kayak talent Amelia Combes from Hanwell has won promotion to National Division Two in canoe singles in slalom after a great weekend.

Sharks Sprint at Holme Pierrepont

Shark paddlers racing at Holme Pierrepont, the home of the National Water Sports Centre on Nottingham, showed the Club has a great future in the discipline lead by specialist Sprint coach Beata Fabinska.

Future Olympic heroes join Sharks event

Hillingdon Gazette – 14th September 2016 – BUDDING future Olympians took to the same Harefield waters which were the proving ground for Team GB hero Richard Hounslow as The Sharks played host to a national canoe slalom league event.

Congratulations Amelia

Amelia promoted to Division 2 on C1 Slalom Congratulations to Amelia Combes who has been promoted to National Division 2 slalom in C1, making her our top ranked canoe singles paddler.

Harefield Slalom Results

The Sharks have hosted their third national ranking slalom, attracting over 150 starts over the two days, with Shark paddlers amongst the winners.

Sharks snap up Regatta third spot

Hillingdon Gazette Wednesday 17th August – HAREFIELD SHARKS took third place in the London Regional Canoe Regatta with some excellent personal results.

We are now recognised as inspiring by the BBC website. The Metro newspaper have described our canoeing sessions in Osterely Park as awesome.
