Autumn Langham Farm Slalom

Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd September

Who wants a weekend of fun and paddling at Langham Farm, near Frome in Somerset? A weekend slalom, with practice and coaching, Team events and a Wild Water Race on Saturday, with a slalom on Sunday.

To make the most of this event, you need to stay locally, there is camping onsite from Friday evening, there are also some places to stay locally. It is about 115 miles and and about a 2 hour and 20 minute drive.

It is, however, a fantastic event, with great opportunities for lost of paddling, and lost of fun. The more Shark paddlers we get there the more fun it will be. It is a ranking Division 3 and Division 4 (entry level event) and would be ideal for any of our paddlers in those divisions, of for any Harefield paddlers, who are yet to enter a slalom.

The event is hosted by Frome Canoe Club, who run an excellent event, very friendly and with good catering (normally vegan friendly options are available). The Sharks has a great record of attendance at this event and some great results and memories.

Shark Coaches will be supporting this event, you can enter on line here, if you want more information, please speak to our coaches at our Harefield sessions, or email: slalom@thesharks.org.uk or call/text on 07951 770241.

If you have not yet started you slalom adventure, then please join us, you don’t need any experience of kit, we have plenty of both. Get in touch and see where we can take you?

Let the fun begin
