Come and join the fun

So far this serries we have had 15 different Shark paddlers racing at the Barrow, how many of you will join us on Saturday February 8th and let’s see if we can get the largest Shark contingent ever at a race?

The Barrow-upon-Soar Race is a great race for all standards, it is a nice entry level flowing river, the race course is 3k and you can do it in any boat, it is a very relaxed atmosphere, and is run by a super friendly Club, Soar Valley. However, it also provides a good standard of competition to those who are more experienced. So, no excuses the Barrow is for you.

The course is a nice loop, we paddle along the canal to warm up, portage down to the River and race back to where we got in. It is just under 120 miles and takes just over 2 hours to get there. There is food an drink available on site and post race refreshment options on site and in nearby towns like Loughborough.
