Easter Saturday fun and it’s free

The Sharks, working in partnership with OPDC, Young Brent Foundation, Queens Park Rangers Community Trust, and Canal and River Trust, to bring you a day of fun and activity at Harlesden Canalside this Easter.

From 11am to 3pm on Easter Saturday, April 19th 2025.

Now becoming an annual event, we will be at: Disraeli Road, NW10 7AE, next to Beit el Zaytoun Restaurant in Harlesden/Park Royal, which is just a few minutes walk from Harlesden Station.

We will be hosting free canoe and kayak sessions, there will be face painting, a chance to come onboard the John Lyon Narrow Boat (owned and operated by Young Brent Foundation), Find out what is going on along the canals with Canal and River Trust and find out far more about the plans for teh area by chatting with the OPDC.

The Sharks have just finished an inspirational season of Winter Races and are now preparing for 2025 and we want you to be part of our team. We teach, train and coach people of all ages, our youngest paddler is just 7-years-old, whilst our oldest is a mere 87-years-old. So no excuses!

You can paddle for recreation or look at taking part in some of our racing teams, no experience is required and whether it is fitness, recreation or competition you are after, you will be having fun.

We compete in Marathon,

Slalom,

Sprint,

and Wild Water Racing,

you will be able to chose what you want to do and even give them all a try.
