Getting Ready for New Season

February has been spent getting ready for 2022 competitive season, and our Summer sessions, which promises to be better than ever.

We had one paddler racing Wild Water, in his first event for some time.

Our regular sessions at Harefield, Harlesden and Southall have continued through the Winter and we are planning to build on them with more and new sessions from April in 2022.

We reported in January that we had been working closely with The OPDC, and in February they went to public consultation on their proposals for Harlesden Canalside.

We hosted a session in partnership with Canal & River Trust for Harlesden Primary School, which we hope will lead to regular sessions with them.

We have been supporting Let’s Go Southall as they work to get more people active, we are working with them on a number of ideas to get people involved in sport and canoeing in particular. They have recently installed some outdoor gyms in parks across Southall.

There has also been a lot more, which we can not go public on yet, but we will just leave this here for you to think about,
