Keep the day free for racing at Barrow-on-Soar, lets get our biggest race team ever there for a fund day out. This race is suitable for anybody who can paddle 3k, in any boat.

Please note this is a date change. The races are suitable fo peole to paddle in General Purpose, boats, Slalom boats, and Racing boats (with rudders) as well as Wild Water Racing boats. you can paddle kayaks and canoes (including an open canoe), it is all about having fun, getting out, and being active.

The Barrow Race takes place at Barrow-on-Soar, just outside Loughborough, it is about 120 miles, just over two hours drive, so you don’t even have an early start, leave about 8am and then we can either come home or go and enjoy some time together over lunch in Loughborough.

The address is: The Moorings, Bridge St, Barrow upon Soar, Loughborough LE12 8PN. Entries cost just £5 per person, you can enter online.

To access the race course we paddle a short warm up along the Canal, we then portage into the River and race back to where we got in. Logistically beautiful!
