A bit different

In July Sharks paddlers were involved in a couple of slightly different activities …..

The month started off with a nice swim in the sea as Grant and Neal took part in the British Heart charity swim between Bournemouth and Boscombe.

They followed this up with a sea race off the coast of the island of Arran.

We had paddlers racing very successfully at Shepperton Slalom, 1 gold and two silvers.

Whilst at Ironbridge, Rick Moore was winning gold.

Later in the month it was Fleur and Jasmin to try something different when they took part in a Super Sprint Triathlon.

Our regular school sessions with Harlesden Primary School and Three Bridges Primary School finished as we started to prepare for our Summer Holidays sessions,

Numbers are growing at our sites across west London, which will reflect in the number of paddlers we will get racing.

In the background negotiations have been taking place to improve facilities across our site, and an invitation to open up at other locations. We are considering these options carefully as we need to ensure any new ventures can be properly funded to start with and have sufficient staff in place to run them.
