We are Back!

Although we have a long way to go till we are fully open, after being locked down it is good that our existing paddlers have been able to get out on the water, hopefully July will see more action and more paddlers.

As we gradually come out of lockdown, we have opened some of our sessions to existing paddlers, slowly we are getting back into action.

Harefield has been seeing a lot of action as it is one of only two facilities available, the other being our friends at Shepperton, so not only have The Sharks been paddling there bust so have several members of the British Team, whom have been really great and supportive of our paddlers.

Southall, has been back in action, with sessions every Tuesday at 5pm, this site is about to undergo make development and we look forward to welcoming many more paddlers soon.

Our site at NW10; Harlesden/Park Royal has been so popular, that we are now offering more sessions, we hope very soon to be able to see many many more of you there.

Well done to the London Youth Games team for staging a competition during lockdown, to keep people active, a brilliant initiative.

Other news announced this month, Sport England helped us out with a £1,000 grant to help during the Covid-19 crisis.

The Slalom Committee, sadly but sensibly abandoned the competitive season for 2020, we are investigating teh possibility of running some local events with other clubs towards the end of the year if circumstances allow it.
