Cardington Division 2, 3, & 4 Results.
Liah Boyle got her well earned promotion to National Division 3 Ladies’ in K1 Slalom at Cardington Slalom.
Division 4
Liah, who is also our top ranked lady in Wild Water Racing, came second over all in the event, but that was enough to secure her promotion to National Division 3 Women’s K1 in Slalom, in her first quorate event. Well done Liah.
In the Men’s K1 event, Alistair Gifford-Moore was racing for only the second time and he came 12th over all and 2nd Master.
Division 3
Fleur Harman was also racing at Cardington; in the ladies Division 3 K1 event, she came 6th over all and is now ranked 42nd in National Ladies’ Division 3 K1, with 55 points from two races.
Division 2
Khaleel Ziauddin missed the chance to resume his place as The Harks top ranked paddler, after, for him, a disappointing 16th place, he picked up 83 points and is currently ranked 61st after just one event.
Neal Underwood, was just one place below Khaleel in the final results with two clear runs, picking up 56 points. However, Neal has done one more event than Khaleel and is currently ranked 54th in National Division 2 Men’s K1.
At the conclusion of the ranking events a team event was held and three of The Shark paddlers, Alistair, Khaleel, and Liah, took 19th place in what was defiantly a fun event.
A big thank you to Viking Kayak Club for hosting another great event, especially for the sunshine this year!
