The Kurt White Bad Weather BBQ

After our session at Harefield on Sunday, we were fortunate enough to enjoy a barbeque arranged and provided by Kurt White for his birthday, which one is a need to know basis.

It is important that the Club is more than just a place to come and paddle, teh social side, making friends ad with this in mind we want to establish more social activities, we have already reported about how much fun it is at events, where people are getting together.

The weather on Sunday, really was grim, but it was a lot of fun, especially after a good paddle, about 20 people at the barbeque, vegan and carnivores catered for.

Thanks Kurt (our new self appointed social secretary) and yes, we do want to make this an annual event, early in November.

We had a group meal in the Coy Carp on the Saturday of the Harefield Slalom, next ups is a Christmas event with some thing special at the next Summer Solstice.
