Nicolas entered his first race at Cardington in August 2024, his second was a week later at Langham Farm, which was disrupted due to high water levels from the excessive rain.

At Cardington he came 16th and 4th J16 in Men’s Division 4 slalom K1. Although the slalom at Langham Farm was curtailed due to water conditions, Nicolas made his debut in Wild Water Racing coming 20th.
