Saalih Syed

Athlete

Making his Shark debut at Cardington Slalom in August 2024, coming 20th over all and 4th J12 in Men’s Division 4, he has also raced WWR taking 27th and 2nd J12 at the Barrow Race in November 2024.

Racing alongside his younger brothers: Abdurrahman, and Abdullah in both slalom and Wild Water, a new dynasty of paddlers from Brent.

Friday the 13th from 7pm – 8:15pm Working with our partners at Horsenden Primary School, we are to offer a free pool sessions on Friday 13th December 2024, from 7pm till 8:15pm at the school pool on Horsenden Lane, North, UB6 0PD.

Mini-Marathon at Harefield The Sharks are thrilled to invite paddlers and clubs from across the region to the next Cedric Avery Mini Marathon takes place on Sunday 15th December and promises both experienced and enthusiastic beginners a challenge.

The Barrow Series This Wild Water Race is suitable for all standards. It is 3k on a twisty moving stream with no rocks and is a fun way to get into the finest of sports.

The Sharks are thrilled to invite paddlers and clubs from across the region to this season’s Cedric Avery Winter Series Mini-Marathons! Set against the picturesque backdrop of Coppermill Lock, this series promises both experienced and enthusiastic beginners a blend of unique seasonal endurance, thrilling competition, and scenic adventure – open to all paddling crafts!
