National Sprint Results
Shark paddlers racing at Holme Pierrepont, the home of the National Water Sports Centre on Nottingham, showed the Club has a great future in the discipline lead by specialist Sprint coach Beata Fabinska.
Although still a small squad, there was real potential; three new paddlers racing at this level joining more established paddlers.
The first to race was Johan Kukkohovi racing at his first national regatta in the Lightening class, where youngsters under 12 race in boats of the same design, he excelled himself making the final if the 500m race in a time of: 3 minutes and 20.20 seconds, In the final he came 7th in a time of 3:20.95, a brilliant result for a first time at this level and showing great consistency, so often paddlers fade between heats and finals.
