Ivijah takes Gold in Style
Ivijah Campbell-Bryan, won the Geoff Sanders Division B race at the Southampton Marathon, in such style, that he actually was faster than all of those in the division above!
In only his second Marathon race, Ivijah has shown he is on his way up the rankings, by winning the 4k race in a time of 13:53, the Geoff Sanders Races are for under-14-year-olds and a way of introducing them to Marathon Racing, and Ivijah has obviously taken to it well. The winner of the division above took 14:36 to do the same course!
Congratulations to Ivijah, who is now promoted to Division A.
Grant Underwood, was also racing in Division 4, he completed the 8 mile course in a time of 1:21:10, coming 8th.
