Rick off to a flying start

Our Slalom Coach Rick Moore, started the 2023, veterans season with a third place finish at Symonds Yat.

Symonds Yat on the River Wye forms a border between England and Wales and is a stunning place to paddle, the River is a liable to rise and fall sharply and with teh recent weather is was on the rise, making for a very exciting and fast course. Rick managed a clear run in a time of 87.4 seconds, and collects 471 points, he is currently ranked 10th in the UK Veterans tables, everyone above him has done more races.
