The 6th and serries finale race
Join us for the Legendary Barrow Race on Saturday 1st March. The Sharks have attended every race in the serries and now it is time to enjoy the serries finale, so please do come and join us.
The Race takes place on the Barrow loop, a fantastic site, where the River goes round in a big loop, meaning the start and finish are very close. The 3k course is a twisty flowing stream with no rocks, so suitable for anybody who can paddle three kilometers.
We park in the Moorings Public House at 10am, which is open for breakfast, tea and coffee. We would like to thank them for their hospitality during the whole serries. It is about 120 miles and a two hour drive from our bases in West London.
Please pre-enter the race by clicking here. The race starts at 11am, check in is from 10am, we advise paddlers to arrive at about 10am. It is a great event, lots of fun and the host club, Soar Valley Canoe Club do a wonderful job organising the whole serries.
