Do you want to race the Daleks?

The Daleks is the lower area of the White Water Course at Nottingham’s National Water Sports Centre at Holme Pierrepoint, NG12 2LU. The Wild Water racing event takes place on Sunday 10th March.

The race is suitable for beginners to Wild Water Racing and can be done in River Racers, Slalom boats or general purpose boats, so why not come along and give it a go? The course is on flowing water, with large easily avoidable obstacles called Daleks, you will see why when you are there.

It is a Sprint Format Race, of about 200 metres, you do two runs and your best run counts.

The Course is just outside Nottingham, post code for satnav is NG12 2LU, and is about 120 miles away and should take about two-and-a-half hours to drive. The event begins at 11am, but we need to be there before 10am, so leave about 7:30am.
